ITD supports all divisions within the Department of Public Safety as well as the entire criminal justice community across New Mexico and provides a range of services to both internal and external customers.
Everyone is aware of how useful advances in technology can be in everyday life. Law enforcement is no different from the use of body cameras to license plate readers – there are many helpful tools to assist every day in the work. ITD is committed to working closely with partners to provide state of the art innovative solutions and deliver the systems and services needed to keep the public and officers safe.

- ITD provides support to over 1,000 public safety, law enforcement, and other private and public sector agencies requiring criminal background information.
