Santa Fe, NM – On September 23, 2023, at around 11:50 p.m., the New Mexico State Police investigated a fatal crash involving a motorcycle on State Road 14 in Santa Fe, NM.
The initial investigation indicated that a 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle, ridden by Dirk Stronck (53) of Los Cerrillos was traveling northbound on State Road 14 near mile marker 30. For reasons still under investigation, Mr. Stronck left the roadway and struck a guardrail. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Office of the Medical Investigator.
Alcohol appears to be a contributing factor in this crash.
This crash is being investigated by the New Mexico State Police.
