Otero County, NM -The following information is for the distribution of a Silver Alert for the Otero County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO). Please refer all media inquiries and questions to the OCSO at (575) 437-2210.
OCSO is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Bernardo Quiroz, a Hispanic male, 73-years-old, 5’7” inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen on August 22, 2022, at around 5:00 p.m., at 704 Broadmoor in Chaparral, NM. Quiroz left in a gray 2012 Toyota Yaris passenger car displaying a New Mexico license plate of PHM436. His whereabouts and direction of travel are unknown. He was last seen wearing black pants and a gray shirt. Quiroz does carry a bottle of oxygen with him. Bernardo Quiroz is missing and believed to be in danger if not located.
