Santa Fe County- A New Mexico State Police warrant round-up in Santa Fe County nets two men who failed to appear in court for outstanding DWI warrants. On July 5, 2022, the New Mexico State Police Uniform Bureau in Santa Fe conducted a warrant round-up operation in Santa Fe, NM. The operation focused on individuals who had outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court for DWI. During the operation, officers arrested Erick Manuel Alcala Velazquez (20) of Santa Fe, and Ivan R. Uribe-Urbina (50) of Pecos. Both men were booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in Santa Fe, NM without incident. The New Mexico State Police will continue to prioritize operations like this to ensure individuals who are arrested for DWI are held accountable for their decisions to drive impaired. NMSP reminds the public to never operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs.
