The following is information for the distribution of a Silver Alert from the Dona Ana Sheriff’s Office. Please refer all media inquiries to the Dona Ana Sheriff’s Office at (575) 526-0795.
The Dona Ana Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Richard Jones, a Caucasian male, seventy-three-years-old, five-feet-eleven-inches tall, weighing 275 pounds, with white hair, and green eyes. Mr. Jones was last seen wearing a green shirt and red sweatpants. Mr. Jones was last seen at 9:00 a.m., on March 17, 2022, leaving his sister-in-law’s residence located on Moraga Court in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Mr. Jones is believed to be traveling in a 2015 silver Ford Escape bearing Arizona license plate BMJ1344. The rear windshield has a sticker with the word “Warrior”. Mr. Jones is missing and is believed to be in DANGER if not located.
