Taos, NM -The following information is for the distribution of a Silver Alert from the New Mexico State Police (NMSP).

NMSP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating David L. Tafoya. Tafoya is described as a Hispanic male, 86-years-old, 5’9” tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen on February 3, 2022, around 9:30 a.m., after leaving to pay a bill in Taos, NM. Tafoya is believed to be driving a white single cab Nissan pickup with a green stripe and displaying a New Mexico license plate of KNS-227. It is unknown what he was last seen wearing and his whereabouts are not known. David L. Tafoya is missing and believed to be in danger if not located.
