Santa Fe County, NM – On November 5, 2021, at approximately 6:10 p.m., the New Mexico State Police investigated a fatal motorcycle crash on Interstate 25, near milepost 275, south Santa Fe, NM.
The initial investigation indicates a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Gilbert Gurule (46) of Santa Fe, NM was traveling south on Interstate 25. For unknown reasons, the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail. Gurule was transported to the Saint Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, NM, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash. This crash is under investigation by the New Mexico State Police.
