Bernalillo County, NM – On November 3, 2021, at about 10:13 p.m. the New Mexico State Police was alerted to a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Interstate 25 around milepost 233 near Tramway Boulevard.
The initial investigation indicated that for unknown reasons Kevin Dwight Vigil, 34, of Albuquerque, NM was walking across the southbound lanes of Interstate 25. He was struck by a south bound black sedan that did not stop and fled the scene. Vigil suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Office of the Medical Investigator.
