The initial investigation indicated a 2021 Mazda CX-5 SUV, driven by a 30-year-old-male from Midland, TX, was traveling south on U.S.285. For reasons still under investigation the Mazda struck a guardrail, left the roadway, and rolled. There was a total of five occupants in the Mazda at the time of the crash.
