Rio Arriba County, NM – The following is information for the distribution of a Silver Alert from the Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s Office (RASO). Please refer all media inquiries and questions to RASO at (505) 753-5555.

RASO is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Russel Allen Goshorn. Goshorn is described as a 67-year-old Caucasian male, Six-feet-two-inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with blue eyes and white gray hair. He was last seen on July 7, 2021, around 11:00 a.m., going for a walk from his residence in Ojo Caliente near milepost 337 off U.S. Highway 285. Goshorn did not return. He was last seen wearing a brown Lowes shirt, blue jeans, and wearing dark brown hiking boots. Goshorn does wear a polish silver wedding band on his ring finger and carries a brown trifold wallet. The whereabouts of Goshorn are unknown. He is missing and believed to be in danger if not located.
