Ponderosa, NM – The following is for the distribution of a Silver Alert for the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office. For details concerning this New Mexico Silver Alert please contact the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office at (505) 891-7226.

The Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office is searching for William Howard Taylor, 91, of Ponderosa, NM. He is believed to have left his residence of 6166 Highway 290 in Ponderosa sometime after 7:00 p.m. on February 25, 2021 and was discovered missing the following morning. Mr. Taylor is believed to be traveling in a silver 2009 Isuzu Ascender displaying a yellow balloon New Mexico license plate of KPK-169. The vehicle has a white cat sticker on the back window. Mr. Taylor is described as 5’08” tall, weighing 150 lbs., with green eyes and white hair. He is believed to be wearing a black flannel shirt, grey pants, with a brown jacket and black shoes.

It is unknown where Mr. Taylor might be headed or what his direction of travel is. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of William Howard Taylor is asked to call the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office at (505) 891-7226 or dial 911.
