CANCEL AMBER ALERT- Ava Spicer has been located and is safe. For more information, please contact Farmington Police Department.

The following is information for the distribution of an Amber Alert from the Farmington Police Department. For details, please contact the Farmington Police Department at (505) 334-6622

The Farmington Police Department is asking the publics’ assistance in locating Ava Spicer, a three-year-old female, two feet six inches tall, weighing approximately thirty-five pounds, with curly brown hair and brown eyes. Ava was last seen at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, in Aztec. Ava was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt, long sleeve blue and white shirt, and blue jeans with unicorns. It is believed she was abducted by Destinee Sweeney a thirty-year-old female, who is five feet two inches tall, one hundred thirty pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair with a floral tattoo on her right hand and butterfly tattoos on her right calf. They are believed to be driving a 2003 grey, Mitsubishi Montero, with a large dent in the back and large butterfly stickers, bearing New Mexico license plate ABJN53. They are possibly traveling to Ignacio, Colorado. Many details are still unknown and under investigation. However, of urgent concern is the whereabouts of Ava Spicer. Ava Spicer is missing and is believed to be in danger if not located.
