Guadalupe County, NM – On December 30, 2021, at around 8:00 a.m., the New Mexico State Police investigated a single-vehicle fatal rollover crash on New Mexico State Road 219, at about milepost 11 west of Santa Rosa, NM.
The initial investigation indicated that a 2000 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Antonio Mario Crisostomo, 28, of Las Vegas, NM was traveling south on SR 219. For unknown reasons the Chevrolet left the roadway and rolled. Crisostomo was ejected from the vehicle and suffered injuries. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased by the Office of the Medical Investigator.
Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash and a seatbelt was not properly worn at the time of the crash. This crash is under investigation by the New Mexico State Police.
